Donna Granata at Focus on the Masters has contacted me to schedule an "Artist Spotlight" interview August 6, 2016. This Ventura organization assembles career documentation and archives for selected southern California artists. The event on August 6th will be a filmed interview between Ms. Granata and myself in front of a live audience at Brooks Institute in Ventura, followed by an informal dinner. The evening is open to the public.

Riverside Art Museum
New RAM curator Todd Wingate recently visited my studio to select paintings for a two-person show this fall with Joshua Tree artist Eric Nash. My last show at the Riverside Art Museum was in 1988, so I anticipate a fun trip down memory lane. I will be presenting recent oil on panel works, as well as a few drawings. Dates are October 28, 2016 - January 30, 2017.
Tucson Museum of Art acquisition
The Tucson Museum of Art recently added the 12-panel painting "Hiss" to their permanent collection, made possible by museum funds. It is with great pleasure I announce this significant acquisition by a wonderful Arizona institution.
